My cousin Terea and her husband Jaron came to visit us this weekend! It was so nice to see them.
I picked them up at the train station on Thursday night. We had dinner and just stayed up talking. On Friday, they set off to explore London. We stayed behind because Sammy had school. On Saturday, we showed them the sights of our home town. We fed the ducks, had a picnic by the cathedral and went to the Saturday farmers market. It took us a while to decide what to do on Sunday. I thought that it would be a shame for them to leave England without seeing Stonehenge, so that is what we did. It was a 4 hour drive down and a 4 hour drive back, but well worth it! "It is a long drive to see a pile of rocks, but it is a really cool pile of rocks!" said Jaron.:) Justin worked so hard to get his homework done so he could go, but it turned out he couldn't go with us. He worked on it for 8 hours on Sunday. We just keep reminding ourselves that it will all be over on December 13th!
We loved having them here! The boys had a blast with them! Terea and Jaron were superstars at our house. The boys wanted to be with them all the time.
Sammy and Max shared a room while Terea and Jaron were here. The first night they played and played after we put them to bed. When I noticed it was quiet, I peaked in and this is what I saw. It made us all laugh!
Picnic by the cathedral.
Stonehenge.
I just thought that it was funny that there was one lonely bird on top of Stonehenge. :)
Max and Sammy were pretty bored with the pile of rocks, but had fun with the stroller. Max was pushing Sammy and one time yelled, "WATCH OUT PEOPLE!" I laughed so hard and so did all the people that heard him!
Group picture.
The boys being crazy while we were trying to get a nice picture. Oh well, they were so good considering we spent all day in the car.
Cousins!

2009 Air Force "Heritage Ball"
This past Saturday night Justin and I went to the Air Force Ball. We haven't been for a couple of years, so we were excited to make it to this one.
It was held in a hangar on base. I was wondering how they could make a hangar look nice enough for a formal dinner, but they pulled it off. There was two European fighter jets, one F-14 and one helicopter. They had great food and a band. The best part was I had the best looking date in the whole hangar!
This is us all dolled up ready to go. I think we clean up pretty well. ;)
A few of Justin's co-workers.
They also had a professional photographer on site.

Sesame Street Live
Elmo and friends came to visit us. It was lots of fun! When we walked in they gave then kids the little spinning toys they are holding. We made our way to the front and squeezed into a little spot on the floor. We had a great view. Sammy was pretty much just interested in playing with his toy, but Max loved the dancing and all the characters. His favorite was Cookie Monster. All the way home he kept saying, "Cookie Monster dancing! Go again? Cookie Monster dancing!" It was fun! It was only a half hour show which was perfect.
Like I said, Max loved it! This is what his face looked like the whole time. He is so funny. He just concentrates so much on what he is seeing that he looks so expressionless. I just wonder what is going on in his head. The wheels never stop tuning. :)
The boys with there spinning toys. I don't think that they ever stopped the whole night!
